All army tent end sections are 9′ x 19’9. Many army mess tents would have been erected as a square tent, lacing just two end sections together, with just one single middle pole in the middle.
Now often used for film hire, square single pole tents are also popular for garden and small party hire.

All traditional marquees need at least 1m of grass all around the tent to accommodate the ropes. All marquee walls can be unhooked and folded back.
